Job Responsibilities

The purpose of the Condition Monitoring Technician is to perform vibration analysis, thermography and oils analysis to review that maintenance is being effectively expedited on the CSI Mining Services Assets.

  • Responsible for Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, Thermography and Data Analysis for all Crushing and Process Plants asset to eliminate the consequences of equipment functional failures.
  • Responsible for building the data bases, routes and maintenance of the Condition Monitoring Management Systems.
  • Responsible for administrating the Condition Monitoring watch and action register
  • Consult Reliability Engineers on exceptions found during condition monitoring to develop effective and immediate corrective actions.
  • Responsible for submitting work requests via the maintenance management systems for all condition monitoring exceptions corrective actions
  • Inform Reliability Engineers, Site Maintenance and Production personal on condition monitoring exceptions.
  • Responsible for providing Site based Condition Monitoring Reports.
  • Responsible for supporting the initiatives to improve the reliability of all Crushing and Processing Plant assets, whilst reducing maintenance costs.
