Job Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to industry and business development as a Project Support Officer in Defence. In this exciting role you will build strong relationships with international and industry partners and will contribute to the expansion of a domestic industrial base whilst contributing to the development of innovative technologies in relation to Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance. 

Use your research, communication and presentation skills to contribute to high-profile, complex projects. 
It’s an exciting environment where no two days are the same, but on a typical day as an (APS 5) Project Support Officer you will: 

  • Contribute to the preparation of timely and high quality reports and documentation relating to project management within Defence.
  • Support the coordination of project activities applying project management practices and methodologies, while contributing to planning and governance functions.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to achieve project management outcomes. 
  • Contribute to the analysis of project performance against agreed plans and recommend solutions to achieve project outcomes.
