Team Leader Job at Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety

Job Responsibilities

• In this role, you will be managing a small team to administer title compliance activities in line with Western Australia’s resources legislative framework.  You’ll undertake compliance and enforcement activities consistent with legislation, policy and guidelines, along with preparing high quality reports, minutes and ministerial documentation including advice and briefings. 

• In addition, you’ll ensure all compliance and enforcement activities are fair, consistent and transparent and provide expert advice and assistance to stakeholders on title compliance matters, including interpretation and application of relevant legislation.

• This position is located in East Perth, conveniently close distance from public transport and nearby City of Perth parking. Whether it’s enjoying the tranquil Queens Gardens or the riverside foreshore, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Job Requirement

• Considerable working knowledge of, and experience in applying policy and legislation in a regulatory environment. Specific experience with petroleum Acts and Regulations would be advantageous.
• Considerable experience in leading and managing a team to provide timely and quality service delivery.
• Presents messages confidently and selects the appropriate medium for conveying information to the audience’s level of knowledge, skill and experience.
