Job Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to a “Safety First” culture through leadership and participation in HSE activities and initiatives
- Assist with the planning and mobilisation of staff to allocated NSM Production sites across the Garden Island Defence Precinct (GIDP) and Sydney City Marine (SCM) Marina at Rozelle
- Plan, Manage and Coordinate allocated NSM Production site amenities, plant, and equipment inclusive of Cranes, Forklifts, EWP’s, Air Compressors, Generators, Site Offices & Ablutions in addition to any other equipment the Production Team require in support of Maintenance Activities
- Assist the Production Team with the procurement of materials by drafting necessary documentation, requesting stock availability, and updating registers
- Work in conjunction with production team and contractor supply chain to mobilise materials to and from NSM warehouses as necessary
- Suitable experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in MILIS and SAP
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Prior experience or knowledge working in the Defence Industry
