Job Responsibilities
- Develop and document the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) for the ICT solution.
- Develop and document the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) for the ICT solution.
- Assist in the development of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP).
- Develop and document Pre-Gate 1 CIOG TAF architectural views and documentation including the System View (SV) and Data and Information Viewpoint (DIV) artefacts for AIR6502PH1 SIE Integration Project with the System Architect.
- Support the System Architect in the development and documentation of a Solution Architecture Definition (SAD) or High Level Design (HLD) to meet the SIE integration requirements.
- Support the Business Analyst in the development and documentation of the ICT FPS and Integrated Logistic Support Plan (ILSP) for integration of the solution into the SIE.
- Support the Business Analyst with the engagement of CIOG SMB DSE Transition Planning and Support (TP&S) to commence the process for the transition of the ICT solution into CIOG Operations.
- Support the required MPI System Reviews for the ICT solution including the System Definition Review (SDR), Detailed Design Review (DDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR) and Transfer of Support Responsibilities (TSR).
- As part of the MPI project team, providing ICT systems engineering support to Defence Capability Acquisition & Sustainment Group (CASG) as required.
- Provision of systems engineering services for JP9360 Tranche 3 and 4 Pre-Gate 2 activities with particular focus on system level engineering and testing management and planning.
- Establish the engineering function within the project team and providing support to the architecture, security and analysis.
- Implement the MPI Design Management processes and procedures in accordance with the CIOG).
- Provide input into the end-to-end architecture development, therefore a knowledge of the Department of Defence Architecture Framework (DODAF) and Defence C4ISR capability is highly desirable.
- Provision reports to the Project Manager and supports other specialist staff including the Solution Lead, System Architect and Business Analyst.
Job Requirement
- ICT discipline related diploma or degree.
- Membership with the Institute of Engineers or Systems Engineering Society of Australia (SESA) will be desirable.
- NV1 clearance is a must
