Senior Content Specialist – YouTube Job at News Corp Australia
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the required amount of content is delivered each week and to the required standards.
- Pitch topics and write/edit scripts and editorials.
- Be the liaison between the talent and other departments (Studio, Editing, Creative, Digital) to coordinate recording and editing of segments.
- Upload content to Sky News Australia’s YouTube channels, adhering to the Sky News Australia editorial guidelines and at the direction of the editorial management team.
- Ensure content adheres to relevant Community Standards and legal obligations.
- Display the maturity to work with limited supervision while meeting strict publishing targets and deadlines.
Job Requirement
- Experience in a busy newsroom is ideal.
- Ability to navigate complicated political discussions.
- A positive attitude with enthusiasm for sharing ideas and learning new skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised, to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- While some basic video editing experience is preferred, this can be learned on-the-job.
