Job Responsibilities 

• Support residents in one of our facilities by providing quality person-centred care, with wants and needs of the resident at the core of all of your actions
• Collaborating with other staff to provide quality physical, emotional, wellness and clinical care
• Build relationships with our aged care residents and their families
• Engaging and liaising with residents, their families and carers to improve their health, lifestyle and well-being
• Sharing professional knowledge with your teammates

Job Requirement

• Certificate III in either Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing)
• Demonstrated understanding of the physical, emotional and social needs of older people
• Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues
• Certificate of completion – SA Health’s Understanding COVID-19 for Aged Care Workers (free online training)
• Current influenza vaccination and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• TGA approved Covid-19 vaccine including the booster shot
• National Police Clearance (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people. 6 months or more remaining on clearance, please note NPC’s are valid for 3 years)
