Order Fulfilment Officer Job at Australian Red Cross Lifeblood

Job Responsibilities

We are currently seeking Order Fulfilment Officers to join our team at the Perth Processing Centre. In this role, you will manage and replenish temperature-controlled inventory (blood and blood products), while adhering to cold-chain compliance standards. Operating in a laboratory environment, you are accountable for the delivery of safe and timely distribution of life-giving blood.

• You will act with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm and be able to think on your feet and notice the little details, such as matching blood groups.
• You will demonstrate an aptitude to learning medical terminology to liaise with stakeholders in the medical profession including directly with our hospital based customers to deliver an exceptional service.
• Your safety and wellbeing is the most valuable thing, so it’s important that you have a strong focus on quality and safety.

Job Requirement

• We are looking for a team member with the right attitude and will train you to be an exceptional operator
• Experience in a similar production, order creation/picking or distribution environment
• or pharmaceutical related field would be ideal
• Ability to undertake routine and repetitive work with high attention to detail
• Experience working towards standard operating procedures
• Passionate about delivering great customer service
• Collaborative with a strong sense of teamwork
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Outstanding problem solver with the ability to adapt to pressure and change within a regulated environment
• Experience in pharmaceutical related field desirable
• Qualifications in Science, Medical or Pathology desirable
