National Capacity Coordinator Job at Airservices

Job Responsibilities

  • responsible for the strategic and pre-tactical management of the national airspace capacity responsible for managing both aerodrome and airspace efficiency and creating a daily optimised network performance plan
  • responsible for the pre-tactical generation and review of core airport’s acceptance rates through the Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) process and management of the Ground Delay Program
  • Responsible for the management of the Standard Aerodrome Management Plans (STAMP), the Long Range Air Traffic Flow Management (LR-AFTM), Airport Collaborative Decision
  • Making (A-CDM) systems, when products are delivered
  • responsible for the management, adjustment, and review of the Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) process to manage unanticipated events, task-load allocation, and tactical arrival sequence
  • Responsible for the management of airspace requests and aerodrome/instrument approach training bookings
  • Responsible for the pre-tactical and tactical management of acceptance rates or network adjustments due to works plans etc.
  • Responsible for advising on the post-operational analysis reports in collaboration with the Network Management team People
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a positive working relationship with the Network Management team and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to optimising national network performance
  • Responsible for pre-tactical and tactical coordination with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and airspace users regarding airspace requests and bookings
  • Responsible for tactical coordination with the National Airspace Management Office (NAMO) once operational Compliance, Systems and Reporting
  • Responsible for the completion of post-operations analysis reports to assess effectiveness of relevant sections of the National Operating Plan (NOP) against Key Performance Indicators
  • Accountable for the management of personal recency responsible for ensuring scheduled tasks are completed to the required standard
  • Required to evaluate and manage multiple priorities and tasks to deliver optimal outcomes
  • Responsible for the use of CDM tools to assess true capacity of monitored airports, in response to excessive workload alerting
