Job Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity for personnel who possess excellent communication and time management skills awaits you in the Hunter Class Frigate (HCF) project executive team. The project will deliver nine HCFs which will be a formidable part of the RAN’s future combat effect, replacing the Anzac Class Frigates and joining the Hobart Class Destroyers to provide a highly connected and interoperable surface combatant force.
- Preparing and submitting Ministerial correspondence including talking points, cabinet submissions, and performance reports.
- Responding to Government and Parliamentary queries
- Engaging with the prime and sub-contractors regarding media
- Coordinating all internal and external reporting requirements in support of Director General Hunter Class Frigate
Job Requirement
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and sound judgement.
- Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop visually striking briefing products.
- Ability to think strategically in a sensitive and fast-paced environment.
- Outcome-focused mindset, with an ability to apply innovative and flexible approaches to achieving results.
- Ability to build and sustain effective relationships, and work collaboratively and independently as required, with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience and/or exposure to reviewing and delivering complex policy and briefing material.
- Maturity and a strong commitment to Australia’s national interest.
