Job Responsibilities

  • We are seeking experienced and motivated IT Contracts Directors to join our IT Commercial Services branch.
  • As an IT Contracts Director in our Enterprise Solutions and Technology business area, you’ll manage our IT infrastructure service contracts budget. You will maintain large and complex ICT service contracts pricing terms and conditions. You’ll make decisions about
  • technical and sensitive projects or work programs that have strategic, political or operational significance to the agency.
  • You will utilise your contract, finance and project management expertise to achieve positive
  • outcomes that comply with relevant legislation and policy.
  • You will also provide timely and appropriate commercial, contractual options and financial advice to executives, service owners and vendor managers. You will manage a team and
  • build capability by motivating, coaching and inspiring others to deliver high quality outcomes

Job Requirement

  • as extensive knowledge and experience with applying industry and government financial
  • and contractual frameworks, including the Public Governance, Performance and
  • Accountability Act 2013 and Commonwealth Procurement Rules
  • is experienced in all aspects of IT contract management, including commercial analysis activities, development of financial plans and reports for various stakeholders, performance management, performance reporting, supplier relationship management, service financial models and reporting, contract governance and quality assurance
  • understands risk frameworks, identifies risks to work programs and develops effective management and mitigation strategies > leads negotiations on significant, complex, or technical issues with external practitioners, industry representatives and government agencies
  • is an excellent communicator who can clearly articulate complex concepts
  • is a highly experienced, empowering leader and manager
  • builds effective, strategic relationships and works productively with senior business partners and provides expert advice.
