Job Responsibilities

  • This role is responsible for providing support to Partners, Principals, and Directors in delivery of client service, and managing client relations on a day to day basis.
  • The role is based in Canberra and offers flexible working option
  • You will be helping companies manage global compliance requirements and realize efficiencies in their global supply chain.
  • You will be advising Australia and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance. You will also be leading large-scale business development initiatives.
  • As a Senior Manager, you will manage and mentor a small team as well as support and help drive business development initiatives.
  • This role will also see you assist in billing and controlling of Work In Progress, adhering to budget and deadline constraints as well as manage clients and ledgers.

Job Requirement

  • A degree in International Studies, Law, or Business
  • Experience working in a top-tier or mid-tier consulting or legal firm or Defence
  • Experience in managing a small, diverse and dynamic team
  • Project management experience indicating strong organizational, data management, project planning, project execution, and people skills
  • Business management and financial leadership experience indicating ability to plan and manage budgets, financials, and operations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and with a high attention to detail you will draw on your corporate and commercial experience to think strategically to achieve the firm’s objectives and build strong relationships
  • The ability to think strategically to achieve the firm’s objectives and build strong relationships.
  • Experience with export/import regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, Export Administration Regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations, Defence Trade Controls Regulations, Export Controls Rules, Defence and Strategic Goods List, are all a Plus!
