Food & Restaurant Lead Job at Tennis

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager of Premium Experience, Food & Events, in this role you will be responsible for delivering the AO food offerings across AO Dining, onsite restaurants, food vendors and retail. You will support the conceptual development and design through cost and logistical feasibility analysis; and then deliver the food & restaurants product in each site location in collaboration with our Revenue team, external agencies and suppliers.

  • Lead the delivery of AO food offering through cost and logistics feasibility, contracting, planning and build
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiations
  • Coordinate all restaurant and dining operations during the event
  • Act as the key point of contact to all restaurant and food representatives
  • Support the recruitment, training, and management of event period casual workforce

Job Requirement

  • A strong background within the food and hospitality industry and understanding of the Melbourne food scene
  • An understanding of major event operations and what is required to deliver F&B operations during an event
  • Proven experience in key stakeholder relationship management across various organisational levels
  • High degree of competence with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Well established organisation skills with strong attention to detail and ability to make sound decisions
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of commercial operations within a complex organisation
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check, Working with Children Check and Construction Induction Card
  • Flexibility in regards to work hours – late nights and weekend work may be required leading up to and during the tournament
