Fixed Wireless Senior Design Engineer Job at nbn AU

Job Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for mentoring and promoting cross-skilling within the team, ongoing continuous design feedback and participation and working alongside external & internal business partners to provide EPIC sizing estimates and solving impediments during delivery, while ensuring right solution intent.
• As the FW Senior Design Engineer, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert for Routing and Switching network capability within the Wireless network. In addition to this you will develop high quality Engineering, high level and detailed Designs as well as configurations and deliverables to enhance, augment and maintain nbn’s Fixed Wireless networks and associated platforms.
• Finally, you will contribute to the success of Quarterly Program Increment (PI) planning workshops, daily stand-ups, team demonstrations/showcases, supporting System Integration Tests, First Time Deployments and Operational handover activities, Configuration and other deliverables through to production stability.

Job Requirement

• As the FW Senior Design Engineer, you will bring extensive experience in a similar role, with experience in carrier service provider n/w, Routing and Switching domain, Firewall Implementation, design and integration testing, with proficiency in Cisco ASR, UCS, NCS platforms, IOS /IOS-XR OS with EPNM 5.X or higher management platform. Juniper SRX, JunOS 19 and upwards.
• You will also have experience in the implementation of large-scale Wireless deployments, &/or experience in large scale migration projects, involving Wireless Routing and Switching including implementation of EVPN, BGP, MPLS, QoS, and OSPF.in carrier grade networks.
• You will be an excellent communicator who yearns to work with a small group of skilled practitioners as well as have the ability to influence wider stakeholders.
