Job Responsibilities

Vinery Stud is looking for someone to join our farming team. The ideal applicant would be someone who enjoys working outdoors, who loves variation in their day and who is looking for a career in agriculture. This role presents a great steppingstone for a young person looking to get a wide range of experience and aiming to move into diversified Agriculture. Alternatively, it can be a long-term, stable job for someone with a young family or someone looking for engaging farm work, just 10 minutes from Scone, NSW.

Assist with pasture our management program.
Assist with farm maintenance including fencing and irrigation repairs.
Low stress handling of our small beef cattle breeding herd.
Maintain farm equipment.
Keep our world class racehorses safe and thriving.
Opportunities to cross train into the equine teams.

Job Requirement

  • Willingness to learn.
  • A curious approach is an advantage.
  • Enthusiasm and cooperation when working with a team.
  • Strong animal ethics.
  • Training in all areas can be offered to the right employee.
  • Trade qualifications would be advantageous.
