About Company
The Australian Government, through the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR), has a contract with Workforce Australia to provide employment services to unemployed job seekers receiving government income support payments and employers. Workforce Australia is a network of organisations (private, community, and initially also government) funded by the Australian Government.
Through a competitive public tender procedure, providers were first chosen for the network and given business, with contract periods running for varied amounts of time decided by the Australian Government. Over 1,000 locations in Australia offered Job Services Australia.
People must receive qualified income support benefits, such as Newstart Allowance, Youth Allowance, the Disability Support Pension, or Parenting Payment, in order to qualify for assistance.

The Employment Service Regulatory Agency was established under the Keating Government's Employment Services Act of 1994. (ESRA). To "encourage the development of community and private sector case managers and to ensure fair competition between the CES and other agencies," as stated in the policy paper "Working Nation," ESRA was established. To take over the job thus assigned to the CES, the new act, however, formed what would subsequently be known as Employment National (Commonwealth Employment Service). Almost all federally financed employment services were then provided by the CES, but as time went on, more and more cash was given to the ESRA so that it could conduct competitive bidding.
Following their election in 1996, the new Howard administration maintained Keating's structural reforms. The CES was abolished on April 1, 1998, and ESRA assumed ownership of its remaining employment services.

Job Responsibilities
- Experience working within a fast-paced production environment
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Comfortable with repetitive manual handling tasks and conducting general housekeeping duties
- Be available for either day, afternoon or night shift
