Delivery Driver Caboolture Job at Australia Post AUG 2022

Job Responsibilities 

• Supporting the lead up to Australia Post’s busiest time of year, we have Van driver opportunities from July 2022, with potential for long term employment.
• You’ll work with colleagues across our processing, freight, transport and deliveries teams to collect your items at the start of your day, sorting mail and parcels with teammates at the depot, completing your own daily vehicle safety check and then heading out in one of our vans, in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businesses to deliver post and parcels.
• If you enjoy being out in the community, diversity in your day and driving one of our iconic Australia Post red or white vans, then this is the perfect role for you.

Job Requirement

• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Hold a valid Australian Driver’s License (for your relevant State/Territory)
• Be fit enough to lift/load our mail/parcel items of all different shapes and frequently around our facilities and into your van.
• Be safety-focused and willing to provide a driving history report, undergo a vehicle driving assessment, pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks
• You’re a self-starter that enjoys working in a busy role out on the road
• You enjoy connecting with others in the community to support us to deliver on time, and like never before
