Job Responsibilities 

• Daily maintenance of cleaning throughout a university
• Control of the cleaning budget
• Scheduling of ongoing maintenance programs for all periodical cleaning
• Liaise with Security, Centre management and tenants in relation to day to day cleaning at the site
• Supervision of cleaners in relation to day to day cleaning, work within building
• Carry out cleaning inspection, be responsible for Quality control and service rotations
• Receive and respond to emails
• Issuing and Managing staff rosters, time sheets
• Review stock levels and complete the orders

Job Requirement

• Experience in cleaning operations; commercial cleaning is highly regarded
• Strong leadership – proven ability to influence others to a considered course of action
• Demonstrated sound knowledge in floor maintenance and high level cleaning with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and management.
• Ability to be on call as required
• Current drivers licence and reliable transport
• National Police clearance, within 3 months of issue or willing to obtain
• Self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job
• COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination is required. As a service provider, ISS must comply with all public health directives and client requirements. Medical exemptions will apply.
