Associate Director – IFRS & Corporate Reporting Job at BDO in Australia
Job Responsibilities
- As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for providing accounting technical advice to clients, and the provision of technical support in financial reporting.
- You will also be responsible for developing new initiatives and reviewing training materials to increase resources around financial reporting that assist with the growth of the IFRS & Corporate
- Reporting team and contribute to a variety of publications and technical discussions.
- As a senior member of the IFRS Advisory team, your impact will be felt by playing an active role in developing the team, including supervising and mentoring colleagues, and managing the IFRS & Corporate Reporting client work-in-progress.
- Collegiately we deliver results, and you will participate in weekly calls of BDO Australia accounting technical consultants bringing any issues from technical queries received for further discussion to ensure consistency is being applied across offices.
Job Requirement
- CA Qualified (or recognised equivalent)
- Up-to-date and advanced knowledge of Corporate and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australia Accounting Standards
- Demonstrated experience in analysing accounting issues and developing innovative and commercial solutions for internal and external clients
- Strong client focus
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in accounting training
