Associate Buyer Job at Compass Group Australia

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in data gathering and spend analysis to support category management and strategic sourcing activities
  • Provide overall administrative and project support to the Retail portfolio
  • Manage and coordinate the new supplier onboarding processes and programs in accordance with company and supply chain policies
  • Support and help organise the Preferred Supplier Program
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a focus on continuous improvement and creation of added value and innovation
  • Support the Client Service Team in resolving Supplier Performance related issues by reviewing root-cause and implement corrective actions where appropriate

Job Requirement

  • You hold or are working towards relevant Procurement tertiary qualifications e.g. CIPS, IFPSM or AAPCM
  • Must be analytical and a problem solver who thrives on research
  • Advanced MS Office skills – Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Able to establish and maintain positive relationships with business stakeholders
