Aged Care Quality Assessor Job at RSM
Job Responsibilities
- The role involves extensive consumer (residents) contact, liaising with the service management and staff and assessing whether the service meets or does not meet the Quality Standards for its consumers as prescribed by The Commission.
- Upon visiting the service and engaging with consumers and their representatives, reviewing documents and collecting evidence of the care provided, you will contribute to the RSM Assessment report provided to The Commission.
Job Requirement
- Knowledge or experience of quality assessment services in Aged Care or other quality management/review processes
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with a wide range of people
- Effective communication skills including an understanding of issues experienced by people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Analytical thinking skills to identify relevant information
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A current driver’s licence and a willingness to travel is desirable
