Job Responsibilities

  • Accurate picking and packing of customer orders
  • Basic assembly of some Furniture Items
  • Loading orders into company vehicle and delivering to local customers
  • Assisting customers who arrive to pick up orders
  • Unloading of containers
  • General warehousing duties, assisting with goods inwards and outwards
  • Inventory Tasks including regular stock checks or counts
  • Follow all organisation’s WHS standards

Job Requirement

  • Previous warehouse experience (Furniture Industry is a bonus)
  • Current forklift licence, not essential but advantageous
  • Current drivers licence and ability to drive a light truck (on a car licence)
  • Physically fit and strong
  • Ability to confidently use hand tools for furniture assembly
  • Demonstrate strong customer services skills
  • Ability to correctly read and understand customer orders
  • Basic knowledge of MS office suite & some exposure to Order Processing software
  • Exposure to Warehousing Management Systems
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to complete a variety of tasks accurately
  • HLOP licence – ideal but not required
  • RF equipment experience – ideal but not required
