AUG 2022: Warehouse Assistant Position at Vision Australia

The Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind (RVIB), Vision Australia Foundation (VAF), Royal Blind Society (RBS), and National Information Library Service were combined to become Vision Australia in 2004. (NILS).

For this to happen at the time, bills had to be approved by the Victoria and New South Wales legislatures.

The Royal Blind Foundation Queensland was merged into the organisation in 2006, which resulted in further growth. Through this merger, it gained total control over Australia's eastern states.

It was announced in February 2008 that Vision Australia and Seeing Eye Dogs Australia (SEDA) would combine by the end of June 2008.

Due to the integration of guide dog services, the community of people who are blind or have limited vision may now receive all the services they need from a single national organisation.
