All pupils in Western Australia are subject to our influence, and we carry it out in a variety of ways in accordance with the law. Directly, we do this through a system of public schools, and indirectly, we do it by regulating and supporting Catholic and Independent schools. Our describes the various strategies we use to deliver education in public schools, as well as to regulate and finance independent and catholic schools. We support a variety of organisations that were established through ministerial administrative action or by legislation passed by the Western Australian Parliament by providing staff, buildings, and resources.
Job Responsibilities
To be suitable for this role, you will ideally be student centred and team focused, possessing the ability to build strong professional relationships with students, colleagues and parents and carers.
- You will ideally possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work in a highly collaborative manner.
- Our school is seeking teachers whose focus is on optimising learning though a strong reflective, collaborative practice guided by student results and importantly aligned to our ‘Agreed Approach’. Professional Learning Communities are embedded throughout the school, with all staff engaged and contributing to fortnightly meetings guided by Action Learning Models.
- Suitable applicants will ideally use exemplary student- evidence-based teaching practices that result in high levels of achievement and progress for all students.
- Teachers that can differentiate the curriculum through ‘best practice’ lesson design and innovative and flexible program delivery are encouraged to apply.

Job Requirement
- a four year Bachelor of Education in one of the following areas:early childhood education
- primary education
- middle years education
- secondary education
- other teaching specialisations
- or a minimum of a three year degree, followed by a Graduate Diploma or Master of Teaching for a particular age group, for example, early childhood, primary or secondary. Any post-graduate initial teacher education course must be delivered at Atustralian Qualificatio Framework Level 8 or above such as the post-graduate diploma (level 8) or Masters degree (level 9).
