About Company
To supervise the entire physical security of our sites and employees as well as the security guard workforce at our corporate locations and print facilities located in Sydney / Melbourne, we are looking for a highly competent and driven Security Supervisor to join our team.
The successful applicant will be in charge of managing the on-site operational physical security workforce, incident and emergency management response, threats made against staff members, and their specific security requirements. Reporting to the National Security Manager, the role is a part of a National Health Safety and Security team.
Direct oversight of guards includes all pertinent rostering, training, performance, and policy adherence, guaranteeing effective and economical service delivery. Conducting security risk assessments and site audits directing and coordinating emergency response, security-related operations, and security-related responsibilities. establishing and growing security teams, guaranteeing ongoing talent development, and ensuring that all KPIs and SLAs are satisfied. helping to respond to threats made against employees or the company, as well as organising and implementing each employee's specific security needs while they carry out their responsibilities in the community. Job Responsibilities
- 5+ years of work experience in a similar role.
- Ability to maintain constructive working relationships with other external and local authority security teams.
- Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills – Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Understanding of the principles and models of managing threats and risk in the complex security environment.
- Suitable understanding of theory and technology to secure assets and protect critical infrastructure.
- Experience in contemporary emergency management process and procedure.
- Current NSW Security License – 1ACE and 2D
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Prior demonstrated experience in staff and performance management.
- Demonstrated experience in a Corporate environment, managing client relationships.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
