The Karakamia Wildlife Sanctuary in Western Australia was acquired by Martin Copley on August 2, 1991, marking the beginning of the Australian Wildlife Conservancy. Since then, it has expanded to become Australia's largest private landowner and manager for conservation, guarding more than 12.9 million hectares spanning sanctuaries and partner sites in well-known Australian locations. Australian Wildlife Conservancy hiring a people administrator in July 2022.

Job Responsibilities
As the organisation enters an exciting new phase, we are seeking an enthusiastic People (HR) Administrator to join our tight-knit People team based in Subiaco. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the People Administrator is critical to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of AWC’s operations by:
- providing HR administration support, advice and reporting assistance to the business
- contributing to the ongoing development of the People (HR) function within AWC
.
Job Requirement
- formal qualifications in HR (or related discipline)
- a customer-focused approach, building effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- sound knowledge of HR systems, processes and procedures
- basic knowledge of HR legislation and reporting requirements
- experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and analysing HRIS performance metrics to improve processes
- aptitude to collaborate, provide technical support and train staff, where required
- demonstrated experience in handling confidential and sensitive information
- can do attitude and self motivation to work independently or as part of a team
- exceptional planning and organisational skills
- reporting writing skills (desirable)
- an interest in nature and wildlife conservation (desirable)
