Job Responsibilities 

  • As a Libraries and Community Centre Caretaker, you will provide a facility and caretaking service to the City’s Baldivis South Community Centre and Mary Davies Library and Community Centre in Baldivis in the daily operations of the centres.
  • This involves acting as the first point of contact for facility users, supporting community groups with running activities at the centres and ensuring the facility is well presented at all times.
  • Your responsibilities include administration in regards to the facilities, customer service and promoting the centres as a resource for the community.

Job Requirement

  • You will have experience in a customer focussed environment, working as part of a team and also frequently working autonomously where you will be able to demonstrate sound independent decision making skills.
  • Your proficiency with technology means you are comfortable troubleshooting basic problems and are able to assist other users.
  • You are helpful, proactive and flexible. ‘C’ class driver’s licence and Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate and ability to work evenings and weekends is essential for this role.
