Job Responsibilities

  • Prepares and configures computing devices for new and existing employees.
  • Installs, configures and maintains approved software on computing devices. 
  • Performs intake, imaging, and restoration of returned hardware
  • Troubleshoots, resolves or escalates hardware and software problems proactively or as  identified by users. 
  • Provides support for audio-visual equipment within the office locations. 
  • May participate in supporting the onboarding of new employees to basic FBN systems
  • Other duties as assigned by FBN IT leadership.

Job Requirement

  • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills with a heightened sensitivity to the issues farmers face 
  • At least 2 years experience as a district, regional or territory manager selling products or services directly to farmers or through a dealer network 
  • Ability to adhere to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures
  • Knowledge of agriculture inputs (e.g. crop protection, seed, animal health and livestock feed) products required 
  • Strong domain experience and background in farming, production agriculture, retail or input sales 
  • Candidate must be comfortable with technology and ideally the latest precision Ag Systems; experience with Salesforce is nice to have but not required 
  • Background in Agronomy and/or territory management,  including, but not limited to, the management and use of agronomic data 
  • Associates in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field preferred or  equivalent work-related experience. Years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • 1+ years experience in information technology preferably in Helpdesk Support or Hardware Technician roles
  • Experience in a multiple OS environment – Mac, Windows, and Chrome OS.
  • 1+ Years experience supporting Google Apps/Gmail, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure AD/Intune 
  • Experience using common command line tools and syntax including BASH, ZSH, or PowerShell. 
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP Networking principles
