Job Responsibilities
Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As a permanent HR Advisor – Business Partnering, you will act as an advisor and coach to leaders and employees across the business to support the values based. member-centric culture of Australian Retirement Trust.
- You will be responsible for embedding corporate HR strategy and providing professional guidance and support to internal client groups, adding value to the business.
- In this busy and varied role.
- You will coach existing and emerging leaders in people leadership approaches, processes and procedures and will specialize in advice and processes specifically relating to ER matters.
- Additionally, you will be involved in supporting the Safety and Wellbeing Specialist in the management of workers compensation and income protection claims as required on behalf of Australian Retirement Trust.
- This role would suit a HR Business Partner who is able to hit the ground running, and who also has previous exposure or experience with complex ER matters.
- You will also be required to facilitate training sessions with leaders, support cyclical HR activities and organisational change, manage WH&S incidents, provide timely and accurate advice, manage reporting and respond to the changing needs of the organisation.
Job Requirement
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline;
- Demonstrated experience in providing generalist HR advice and guidance to leaders and employees on all people related issues, including performance management, performance review, remuneration, etc.
- Demonstrable experience providing expert advice relating to complex ER / IR matters with contemporary knowledge of ER / IR legislation and policy being essential;
- Proven knowledge and understanding of workers’ compensation legislation, WH&S and case management of ill and injured workers;
- Demonstrable experience in a HR Generalist or HR Business Partnering role with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal processes and procedures and provide accurate and timely advice to stakeholders;
- Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation;
- Ability to maintain composure, balance a high volume workload and conflicting priorities, and effectively handle difficult and confidential situations.
