After receiving a positive reaction, a planning committee was established in 1962. In August, St. Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital is hiring a housekeeping assistant.
Through its Rural Clinical School, which is situated in Toowoomba, the University of Queensland operates St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital as a teaching hospital. Additionally, the hospital offers student nursing training programmes through Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE and the University of Southern Queensland. The hospital is grateful for the community of Toowoomba and Darling Downs' continuous financial support and volunteerism.
An autonomous, non-profit private hospital without shareholders, St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital offers acute medical and surgical models of treatment where the patient is the centre of attention throughout. The hospital offers services that address community health needs as opposed to only those that produce the highest returns (eg Diagnostic Breast Clinic, Cardiac Rehabilitation Service, Diabetes Education Services).
Job Responsibilities
- A casual position is available for an energetic, motivated cleaner to work within the Housekeeping Department.
Job Requirement
- Experienced in cleaning patient wards and general cleaning is desirable
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts
- Demonstrate excellent time management and communication skills
- Demonstrate general computer skills
