The main charity kitchens in Australia are run by the national food rescue organisation FareShare, which is supported by Linfox. Assembling millions of free, cooked, nutritious meals for those in need, FareShare employs a fleet of refrigerated vehicles to collect waste and donated food from supermarkets, wholesalers, producers, and farmers. During the COVID-19 crisis, Linfox donated freight services to transport 44 drums of passata from Shepparton to Melbourne in two B-double trucks after SPC donated 55,760 litres of passata to FareShare.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus
  • Deliver general freight across the Darwin area
  • Restrain loads safely
  • Complete run sheets and ensure you collect all the critical documents
  • Assist with general yard duties

Job Requirement

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role desirable
  • Possess HR license with good driving history
  • Forklift license desirable
  • Good understanding of the Darwin local area
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
