Job Responsibilities

• Coordination of daily operations of the business;
• On-the-ground management of employees and contractors;
• Forward planning and implementation of production goals;
• Paddock record keeping and reporting;
• Machinery operation (tractors and air-seeder, trucks, sprayer, field bins, silos, augers…);
• Maintenance and repairs to plant, fencing, water supply and yards;
• General farm duties.
• The ideal candidate
• We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a passion for farming and agriculture.
• You understand that reasonable additional hours are required during seeding and harvest, including travel between properties.
• You will be a great communicator who treats people well, with a commitment to collaboration, teamwork and getting the job done.

Job Requirement

• Experience and skills in grain production operations;
• Capacity to plan and organise tasks as well as analyse and solve problems;
• Supervisory skills along with a responsible approach and attitude;
• A strong work ethic and well-developed interpersonal and communication skills;
• Enthusiasm for agriculture;
• Attention to detail, pride in one’s work; and
• A commitment to safety in the workplace.
