With the goal of producing healthy, fresh Atlantic salmon with a focus on quality and sustainable fish for a rising population, we proudly pioneered the salmon industry in Australia 35 years ago.
Aquaculture Farm Attendant Position at Tassal, August 2022.
As ethical farmers, we are concerned about the health and quality of our fish, the land and waters on which we operate, the local communities, and our dedicated people who are working to improve the world for coming generations. Our home is Tasmania, an idyllic island with cold waters and a lengthy maritime history, where our desire to produce fresh Atlantic salmon first surfaced more than 35 years ago. Our emphasis on quality has helped us grow from modest beginnings to become Australia's largest producer of Tasmanian-grown Atlantic salmon. This reputation has helped us become a global leader and pioneer.

Food quality control is extremely important, and we have numerous rules and procedures in place to ensure that all consumers always receive food that is both high quality and safe.

We want to share our love and expertise of salmon with you in order to provide you with quick recipe suggestions and meal inspiration for any occasion and season. Food is the most important necessity for future generations, especially sustainable salmon, which has a minimal carbon footprint and is produced by people who are passionate about providing a protein that is both nutritious and sustainable and is in high demand both in Australia and beyond.
