Job Responsibilities

  • As a key member of the CHPP Operations team, you will be responsible for carrying out safe electrical practices, effective operation of sites CHPP and mobile equipment, managing Coal Processing quality requirements, train loading and complying with work management processes for breakdowns.
  • You will liaise closely with key stakeholders to develop, recommend and implement strategies for improving equipment uptime and process reliability to ensure coal processing and railing targets are achieved. 

Job Requirement

  • To be successful for this position, you will hold a current QLD Electrical licence, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fixed plant processing role including control room operations, train loading and stockpile management.
  • Your strengths will include demonstrated knowledge of coal processing, HV switching experience and instrumentation with PLC experience.
  • You will have a proactive attitude to safety, a strong work ethic, and leadership capability. Demonstrated ability to work closely with a highly motivated CHPP Operations team, flexibility and excellent teamwork skills are essential for your success in this role.
