Job Responsibilities

Drivers play a crucial role within Coates, ensuring the safe delivery of goods and equipment across the country. This role is often the face of Coates and requires exceptional customer service and professionalism, as well as working to tight deadlines and ensuring and maintaining a high standard of safety. The role is based at our Sydney Portables Branch located at Erskine Park.

• Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations. 
• Effectively secure freight load to ensure successful delivery
• Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location to ensure efficient retrieval.
• Manoeuvre equipment on and off a Hiab Vehicle. Eg Portable Buildings and Toilets
• Installation of equipment at customers sites
• Perform general yard duties ensuring an organised and safe yard 

.

Job Requirement

• A valid heavy vehicle driver’s license Minimum HR. 
• A valid HRW Licence CV & LF
• Experience loading and unloading equipment operating a Hiab & using correct load restraint
•  A clean driving record and a commitment to the importance of safety – you are an expert on the chain of responsibility.
• Proven customer service skills
• Adequate technology skills
