- Cleaners/Domestic Assistants Job
- Australia
- Full-Time
About Company
The Anglican Church's community care programmes in rural NSW more than 150 years ago are where Anglicare got its start. However, Mother Esther's legacy, which she left when she formed the Community of the Holy Name in Melbourne in 1888, served as the foundation for the genuine beginnings of Anglicare. Anglicare AU is hiring cleaners/domestic helpers in July 2022.
The goal of Anglicare, the Anglican Church's social justice branch, is to combat disadvantage by assisting families and children in breaking the cycle of poverty. Children, teenagers, and families that are homeless or experiencing a crisis are the main beneficiaries of our work. We accomplish this using our Survive and Thrive strategy.
The Community has run hospitals, children's homes, soup kitchens, and mother's groups in Victoria for more than 50 years. Jesus' example calls us to react to human need by rendering loving service and working to eliminate inequalities in our society as part of the Anglican Church's larger Mission. Anglicare will be well known for effective measures to reduce poverty in our regions and as a care provider highly trusted by beneficiaries as secure, well-governed, and efficient. "Called by Jesus' example to respond to human need and social injustice," the organization's mission statement reads.
Anglicare will offer advocacy, all-encompassing care, and support to those in need throughout our regions in collaboration with the Anglican Church, its parishes, and organisations so they can fully engage in their communities.
