Anglicare Southern Queensland is hiring cleaners/domestic helpers in July 2022.

Job Responsibilities

Anglicare’s Booval Community Aged & Disability service offers a range of supports and assistance to a variety of local elderly clients to keep them living at home for as long as possible. We are looking for people who can provide mainly cleaning, shopping, and a meal prep.  We have a number of cleaner/domestic assistant roles available at Anglicare in the Toowoomba Region. 

• Experience in cleaning private homes will be highly regarded
• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
• Physically fit, reliable, enthusiastic and friendly
• Able to use a smart phone
• Fluent in English

Job Requirement

• Queensland Driver Licence and your own, reliable vehicle
• Vehicle insurance (minimum 3rd party property – not just CTP).
• Online COVID-19 government training modules
• A current National Police Certificate
• Physical capability of meeting the requirements of the role
• Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots 
• COVID-19 vaccination certificate
