Job Responsibilities

• Supporting the Head Chef with daily Mess operations and food service.
• Meal and Food preparation
• Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as Grills, Fryers and Oven
• Managing any cleaning tasks, such as dirty dishes
• Buffet Style Cooking

Job Requirement

• Scout Solutions are seeking Chefs to work at one of our Defense bases at RAAF East Sale, VIC.
• You will have the opportunity to work 38 hours per week between Monday and Sunday with an attractive hourly rates of $32.78 per hour + $3 allowance per hour on ordinary hours for chefs and $6 allowance for lead chefs + Penalties + Super.
• Immediate casual positions available and potential for longer-term work for the right candidate.
• Commercial Cookery Certificate III, or above (or equivalent)
• Kitchen Experience
• Understand special dietary requirements
• Great attitude
