Job Responsibilities 

  • Work with project teams to analyse current systems and processes and design a strategy for the adoption of lean, agile best practices
  • Guide teams with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is being met
  • Lead agile workshops for both development and functional teams, as well as key stakeholders
  • Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and milestones and being accountable for them
  • Measure the maturity of lean, agile processes and coach teams towards improved maturity of practice
  • Work with teams to adapt practices to specific circumstances at Aveo and within projects, always maintaining the key tenets of good lean, agile practices
  • Build strong, productive and enduring relationships with internal customers during projects
  • Establish training audience definitions, geographic distributions and literacy levels to determine appropriate training delivery strategies
  • Work to develop training materials with contractor or consulting developers and test the effectiveness of training on pilot groups
  • Work with trainers and project managers to roll-out training in line with project go-live timelines to ensure smooth transitions
  • Develop and document a deep understanding of the Technology Team processes, pain-points, challenges and opportunities and develop a roadmap with relevant team members.

Job Requirement

  • Demonstrated experience as an Agile Coach
  • Demonstrated experience with Scrum, Kanban and Scaled agile/Agile project methodologies and frameworks (preferred DSDM A-tern)
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating groups towards shared goals and priorities
  • Experience running agile projects of varying size and complexity
  • Demonstrated Experience with Design Thinking (Double Diamond)
  • Familiarity and experience with Change Management frameworks (ExperienceChange and/or Prosci Models) advantageous
  • An excellent communicator and motivator
  • Ability to build rapport with all levels of management and employees easily
  • Passionate and committed to a high work ethic and professional standard
  • APMG AgilePM, Scrum Coach/ Master, Product Owner certifications are highly desirable.
